Rank and Pillage Review – Is it the real deal?
Rank and Pillage is an internet marketing product to teach you how to build sites for different purposes to make money from them. Rank and Pillage is a system that will apply to beginner and intermediate alike – you get to know the system, and you execute it in a predictable manner, for predictable results that work.
The product was created by Aidan Booth, and Brian G Johnson to be a solution to the fact that most internet marketers make little or no money, but would like to. These two guys are really genuine, and really want to see you succeed – they’re not pushy and don’t try to upsell you, it is entirely up to you.
The standard course has all you need to succeed, and may be beneficial to internet marketers with experience, who just need to be shown a way to do things, but generally understand how it all works. The instructions are clear for the standard membership, and give you a very good idea of what you must do. There are a large number of videos categorised into sections to show you how to create a site, how to create content for your site, how to do SEO, and how to fine tune. This information is great information, but my pick personally is that you get the upsell into the gold membership, simply because the extra support given here will mean making that extra money back very quickly, then continuing to earn into the future.

Included in the system is a core manual that gives you step by step instructions in quite a lot of detail, for what to do, as well as expected timeframes for each option given. The Rank and Pillage core manual is 254 pages long, and will take you a number of months to fully absorb all the information. There are also a few webinars that are made available, that will give you some additional information, taken from existing members’ questions, and general observations from the forum. The standard membership does also include some spread sheets to help you manage your internet marketing project.
There is also a desktop reference manual which would be more like a checklist of what you need to do, with a lot less information, but useful to remind you how to go, particularly when you get to creating subsequent sites, following your success with the first.
The big thing here is that the Rank and Pillage core manual gives you a lot of guidance, but there will be bits that you miss, or perhaps don’t follow, and get wrong. This is all part of the process, and means that you can learn why what you did wasn’t perhaps the best way to do things. This situation is especially useful if you bought the upsell to gold membership, as you have access to a forum to be able to ask questions such as why something isn’t working, or what to do when you are unsure.
The system does include upsell into a gold membership which gives access to a ninety day boot-camp that will allow you via video to see a site being built up, the tools being used, and what to do to really succeed with this time and time again. In addition to, and supporting the ninety day boot-camp is forum access, this gives you access to other members of the system, as well as Aidan directly, who usually answers questions within a day, and is very helpful and honest. Again, this is focussed on results; there are no sales involved, although there are suggestions of paid tools that you may make use of if you wish to do so. All of the course can be completed with free tools, but it will take a good deal more time to do so. The instructions are included for free, some paid, and completely outsourced solutions – all of the ways work, and it’s more a case of the amount of time and money you have to invest.
The gold membership builds upon the details in the core manual, but gives a run through of how it is done, as well as explaining in finer details in some places, what is required to really succeed. The gold membership also includes a small number of additional webinars not available to standard members that really polish off the education. These have been created as a result of feedback from existing members’ questions, and so will really help you to understand how the system works.
There is also a platinum membership which gets you an additional affiliate system created by Brian for Halloween. A lot of people have had great success from the Halloween system by Brian, so it is a worthwhile consideration if you have the money for it. I haven’t actually seen the course myself, although I am told from other members that it is an excellent system, and a good tool to help you learn affiliate marketing. A site created from this Halloween system will make cash year round, but goes completely crazy as it gets close to Halloween.
If you are an internet marketer who doesn’t make as much money as you think you could do, and fear that you do not understand the bigger picture, this product is for you. If you have never done internet marketing before, but want to, this product is really excellent for you. I seriously recommend that you buy the upsell to the gold membership, as the extra support from the existing members will really help your chances of success in the long run. I personally started off with the standard membership, followed the instructions, but still felt that I had a couple of areas that were not really clear. I upgraded to the gold membership, and these questions were all answered for me. There’s no reason why you couldn’t do things that way, if you’re unsure, you are able to upgrade from standard to gold membership at a later date should you wish to do so.
The most valuable part of Rank and Pillage I think is that of the support network sitting behind the system. That support network is made up of Aidan, Brian, and a large number of existing members who have gone through, and are still going through the training, who can help you as you do the same. When you’re feeling demotivated there are a large number of really kind people who will help you get through it, and energize you to succeed.
If ultimately a few years down the line, you are able to make, as Aidan has done, over $100,000 in a year from internet marketing, the investment is this product pales into insignificance. I don’t underestimate people’s disbelief in the system until they see it, believe me this works, and a very short time after you get access, you will be able to see that Aidan’s income figure is in your reach too, if you make the effort.
